The Post Ticker module in Divi Blog Pro lets you display your latest or selected posts in a continuously moving ticker-style format. This is perfect for news updates, announcements, headlines, or any content where you want to highlight short, attention-grabbing post titles with smooth animations.
Content
This tab allows you to control what content appears in the ticker and how much post information is displayed, such as titles, dates, and filtered post results.
Query
This toggle reveals all filtering and sorting settings, allowing you to control exactly which posts appear in the ticker.
- Show Title – Enable or disable the display of the post title inside the ticker.
- Title Text – Add a custom label or heading before the ticker (no text formatting supported).
- Show Date – Toggle the display of the post publication date.
- Date Format – Adjust how the date is displayed to match your site’s style.
- Post Type – Choose which type of content to display, such as posts, pages, or projects.
- Included Categories – Select categories to filter the post results.
- Order By – Sort posts by Author, Date, ID, Parent, Random, or Title for customized ordering.
- Sorted By – Select Ascending or Descending order to define the sorting direction.
- Post Limit – Set how many posts should appear in the ticker rotation.
- Post Offset Number – Skip a number of posts before the ticker begins displaying results.
- Include posts by IDs – Display only the posts with the specific IDs listed here.
- Exclude posts by IDs – Prevent listed post IDs from appearing in the ticker.
Settings
This toggle provides control over the ticker’s behavior, animation, and responsive visibility options.
- Height – Set the height of the ticker area to ensure proper alignment and spacing.
- Animation – Choose the ticker animation style from Typewriter, Vertical Slider, or Fade.
- Show Control – Toggle to display next/previous controls for manual navigation.
- Show Control on Hover – Reveal controls only when the user hovers over the ticker.
- Show Control on Phone – Enable or disable navigation controls on mobile devices.
- Hide Titles on Phone – Hide post titles on mobile for a cleaner, minimal look.
- Hide Date on Phone – Hide the date on mobile devices for simplified display.
Design
This tab allows you to customize the visual appearance of the ticker, ensuring it fits your site’s aesthetic.
Date
Adjust typography, spacing, and color for the date display.
Titles
Customize the styling of the post titles shown in the ticker.
Texts
Style the label or static text used in the Title Text field.
