Content

This tab manages the content displayed in the post grid, including post type, categories, sorting options, and the number of posts shown.

General

  1. Card Layout – Configures the appearance of each post within the grid.
  2. Layout – Choose between a structured grid or a free-flowing masonry style for displaying posts.
  3. Posts Per Page – Sets the number of posts shown per page.
  4. Columns – Defines the number of columns for the grid layout.
  5. Post Gap – Adjusts the spacing between individual posts.
  6. Show New Badge – Enables a badge for newly published posts.

Query

  1. Post Type – Select the type of content to display in the grid (e.g., posts, pages, custom post types).
  2. Include By – Defines the criteria for including posts (e.g., by parent post or author).
  3. Categories Filter Rule – Choose whether to filter by matching or excluding specific categories.
  4. Categories Filter – Select one or more categories to filter the displayed content.
  5. Ignore Sticky Posts – Exclude sticky posts if enabled.
  6. Offset – Skip a specified number of posts before displaying results.
  7. Exclude Current Post – Prevent the current post from appearing in the grid.
  8. Order – Specifies whether the posts are displayed in ascending or descending order.
  9. Order By – Select the criterion for sorting posts (e.g., Meta Value, ID).

Filters

  1. Show Filters – Display a categories or tags bar for filtering posts.
  2. Filter By – Select whether to filter by categories or tags.
  3. All Text – Customize the text for the “All” option in the filter bar.

Pagination

  • Pagination – Choose the pagination method: no pagination, numbered pagination, or infinite scrolling.

Image

  1. Image Position – Choose the position of the image within the grid item (top, background, or none).
  2. Image Size – Select the display size of the image (thumbnail, medium, large, full size).

Title

  1. Show Title – Enable or disable the post title in the grid.
  2. Link Title – Make the post title clickable, linking to the respective post.
  3. Open in New Tab – Open the post title link in a new tab when clicked.

Meta

  1. Show Meta – Display metadata (author, date, comments) for each post.
  2. Show Separator – Add a separator line between meta items for clarity.
  3. Show Post Author – Display the author’s name.
  4. Show Post Date – Display the publication date.
  5. Show Post Comments – Show the number of comments for each post.
  6. Show Categories – Display post categories.
  7. Show Tags – Show tags associated with the post.

Excerpt

  1. Show Excerpt – Display the post excerpt in the grid.
  2. Excerpt Length – Set the maximum number of words or characters for the excerpt.

Taxonomy

  1. Taxonomy Position – Choose the position of taxonomy terms (e.g., categories or tags).
  2. Select Taxonomy – Select which taxonomy to display (e.g., categories, tags).
  3. Display Max Terms – Set the maximum number of taxonomy terms shown per post.

Read more

  1. Show Readmore – Display a “Readmore” link/button for posts in the grid.
  2. Readmore Text – Customize the text on the “Readmore” link.
  3. Readmore Icon – Select an icon to display alongside the “Readmore” text.
  4. Open in New Tab – Open the “Readmore” link in a new tab when clicked.

Design

This tab allows you to customize the appearance of the grid, including the layout, spacing, and styling of post elements like title, image, categories, and more.

Content

  • Customize the overall look and feel of the content area, including post layout and arrangement.

Filter

  • Style the category or tag filters above the grid for a better user experience.

Pagination
